As the sun rose over the picturesque landscape of Livonia, Missouri, I arrived early at Bill Triplett's beautiful hay field, camera in hand, ready to capture the essence of an extraordinary gray gelding. This was no ordinary photo shoot; it was a celebration of equine excellence and impeccable breeding.

Bill greeted me with his signature warm smile, his excitement palpable as we prepared to showcase his pride and joy, a gray gelding born on May 15, 2023. The gelding, with his striking appearance and calm demeanor, immediately commanded attention. With a pedigree that includes the renowned CT Show Me Your Guns and Frenchmans Eye, this young horse is destined for greatness.

We began by unloading the gelding from the trailer, and I was struck by his grace and poise. Despite his young age, he displayed an impressive level of maturity, a testament to Bill's diligent groundwork. The gelding's coat shimmered in the morning light, highlighting the exceptional care he receives.

As we moved to the lush green hay field, I couldn't help but admire the idyllic setting. The vibrant colors and serene ambiance provided the perfect backdrop for our shoot. His dam, Frenchmans Eye, traces back to the legendary Frenchmans Guy, a $14 million dollar sire renowned for producing top-tier barrel racers and all-around performance horses.

As the session drew to a close, we began packing up and preparing to exit the hay field. Just as we were about to leave, a family of turkeys emerged from the tall grass and strolled across our path. Bill chuckled and said, "Oh yeah, this family is always out and about around here."
